Cross Country Dominates This Week's Performance of the Week List

It was another busy week for cross country fans. We saw three more NXR Regions name automatic NXN qualifiers as well as three Foot Locker regions compete for spots in San Diego in two weeks. On top of that, there was the California State Meet and the Canadian Cross Country Championships. We also saw a course record at the Manchester Road Race. Liam Anderson: The high school senior from Redwood (Larkspur) CA won the Division 3 race for the second straight year at the California State Meet by 10 seconds, running the fastest time of the meet, 14:55 for 5K.

Lucas Bruchet: The distance runner won the Canadian Cross Country Championships by 13 seconds, running 29:54 for 10K.

Riley Chamberlain: The high school freshman from Del Oro CA won the Division 3 race at the California State Meet by 16 seconds, running 17:18 for 5K.

Edward Cheserek: The distance runner from Kenya won the Manchester Road Race by 28 seconds, running a course record 21:16 for the 4.748-mile course.

Emily Covert: The high school senior from Minneapolis Washburn MN won the Foot Locker Midwest Regional by 10 seconds, running 17:58 for 5K

London Culbreath: The high school junior from McKinney North TX won the Foot Locker South Regional by three seconds, running 17:12 for 5K.

Cruz Gomez: The high school senior from Memorial TX won the Foot Locker South Regional in a close finish, running 15:04 for 5K.

Charles Hicks: The high school senior from the Bolles School FL won the NXR Southeast Regional by 10 seconds, running 15:04 for 5K.

Cole Hocker: The high school senior from Indianapolis Cathedral IN won the Foot Locker Midwest Regional by six seconds, running 16:03 for 5K.

Genevieve Lalonde: The distance runner won the Canadian Cross Country Championships by 19 seconds, running 34:47 for 10K.

Sydney Masciarelli: The high school sophomore from Northbridge, Mass. won the Foot Locker Northeast Regional by five seconds, running 17:12 for 5K.

Sasha Neglia: The high school junior from Dobyns-Bennett TN won the NXR Southeast Regional by seven seconds, running 17:37 for 5K.

Ryan Oosting: The high school senior from Arlington MA won the NXR Northeast Regional by 16 seconds, running 15:50 for 5K.

Jack Stanley: The high school senior from West Morris Mendham MA won the Foot Locker Northeast Regional by seven seconds, running 15:30 for 5K.

Parker Stokes: The high school senior from Maine Endwell NY won the NXR New York Regional in a close race, running 15:51 for 5K.

Katelyn Tuohy: The high school junior from North Rockland NY won the NXR New York Regional by 40 seconds, running 17:14 for 5K.

Alexa Westley: The high school senior from Warren Hills Reg NJ won the NXR Northeast Regional in a photo finish, running 18:38 for 5K.
